Don Teesdale Growing up in a very musical household, Don learned to play piano and sing from the earliest days of his memory, and never really stopped. As he reached career age, he temporarily placed music career dreams on hold in order to pursue military-public service careers, as a helicopter and airplane pilot. Over these years, Don continued to sing for ceremonial events, weddings, funerals, and other events whether at churches, community locations, or any place where a song would be welcomed. In recent years he went back to college to study music through the Berklee School of Music, completing a Master Certificate in Music Theory, Harmony and Ear Training in 2010, and a Master Certificate in Writing and Producing in 2013. These certificates helped to earn a second bachelor's degree at Thomas Edison State College, as a Bachelor of Arts in Music. As a board member of Consonance USA, a non-profit, electro-music therapy organization in Maryland, Don seeks to advance this important field of research to help those who could benefit from it. Of course, every human being can benefit from helpful music. Working part time in a senior living community offers many opportunities to share music experiences with senior residents. Don also enjoys songwriting and co-writing opportunities with some of Nashville's most accomplished writers and is thrilled to be a member of the Nashville Songwriter's Association International (NSAI). Don has much appreciation for the many good people in his life who encouraged his music dreams and instilled the passion for musical expression. Whether it was his parents who were his greatest advocates, music teachers over a lifetime, or his many musical friends, he is truly grateful for each of them. Don is also grateful for such exceptional music experiences as singing with Country Artists Kellie Pickler, Neal McCoy, and having the honor of traveling on tour in 2015 and 2016 to perform as a guest singer with his friend, world renowned Irish Tenor, Dr. Ronan Tynan. Singing with a live band is a new experience for Don, and the mix is just right with the highly skilled musicians of Alton Street. "I've always said that I want my flying to make a difference in the world, and I feel the same way about my music. It’s all positive….so positively turn it up!" Equipment Used.
